UK Trade Investment (UKTI) is the government organisation that supports companies in the UK doing business internationally and overseas enterprises seeking to set up or expand in the UK.
The Trade and Investment section at the British Embassy provides a range of chargeable and non-chargeable services to British companies looking to enter the Qatari market. This includes market research on a specific product or service, identifying potential agents or distributors and advising on other routes to market such as joint ventures.
The section also supports British companies already established in the market through information exchange and sharing and can also help local companies who wish to source British products or expertise or who are considering investing in the UK.
All bilateral military and defence sales issues are handled separately by dedicated MOD staff located in the main Embassy.
