British Airport Magazine (BAM) Qatar
The QBBF is pleased to welcome British Airport Magazine (BAM) to Qatar.
BAM is currently in the country researching and producing an in-depth and comprehensive business and investment guide, with a special focus on the future of trade relations between the State and Britain.
Ambassador Simon Collis will be a keynote speaker introducing the report; discussing the strong history of diplomatic and commercial ties between the two countries, while our own Hugh Thompson will also be featured editorially, discussing the functions and initiatives of the QBBF, and the role it plays in facilitating a forum for social and business networking for British nationals making their home in Qatar and playing a key role in the advancement of Qatari business enterprise.
BAM is a press group specializing in country-themed business magazines targeted at the busy international travellers whose second home is the London Heathrow Airport: this publication will feature the latest developments in the Qatari economy, and will serve as an all-around guide to doing business in, and visiting the country.
"Qatar: Now Hosting the World" coincides with the world's increased attention on Qatar as it follows a successful hosting of the Asian games, and now looks to further cement itself in the global spotlight.
This is the first time that BAM has been in the country, and they will be working under the support, trust and guidance of the top Royal, Government and business leaders to ensure that the country is promoted in the best possible light.
With pending FTA between the GCC and the EU, Qatar's economy growing at unprecedented levels, and Qatar Airways increasing flights from Doha to London to 3 per day, BAM hopes to convey to their large and targeted readership of business travellers that Qatar stands alone as their next business destination of choice.
