BRITAIN IN THE REGION - 17 MAY 2007

The British Embassy Dubai, is hosting a 'Britain in the Region' event on 17 May 2007 in Dubai. Senior trade and investment officers from British Embassies and Trade Offices in 14 countries across the region will be present to offer advice on conditions and opportunities in their respective markets to representatives of UK companies.
This is your opportunity to meet them on a one-to-one basis and learn about the areas in which they operate. For those of you already doing business in the region, it will be an opportunity to tell them what you're up to in their markets and find out how you may be able to work together with UK Trade & Investment.
Trade and investment officers from the following countries will be attending:
Iraq - Iran - Saudi Arabia - Bahrain - Oman - Kuwait - Qatar - Jordan - Lebanon - Libya - Syria - Palestinian National Authority - Tunisia - Morocco
In addition, officers from the Embassies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will also be present.
A series of presentations on opportunities in key sectors in the region will be made throughout the day.
Also participating in the event are the British Business Group of Dubai & Northern Emirates, Energy Industries Council, British Expertise, the Middle East Association and the Arab British Chamber of Commerce. You will be able to discuss with each of these groups how they work for their members in the region and how you can join.
The event will take place at the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel in Dubaion 17 May 2007, between 9am and 5pm.
