Charles Moncrieff

It is with a sense of deep shock and profound regret that we have to advise you that our Treasurer, and Committee Member, the CEO of HSBC Bank Doha, Charles Moncrieff, passed away on Tuesday 23rd September in Doha.

As our Treasurer, Charles was a constant source of support and sound advice on all matters which came before the committee and his contributions, always delivered with the best interests of the QBBF at heart, and peppered with his inimitable verve and humour will be sorely missed by his colleagues on the Committee.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this very sad time and once the funeral arrangements are known, which will probably take some time to become clear, we shall make arrangements for an appropriate expression of our sympathy and feelings to be made known to Charles's family in the United Kingdom.

Our deep condolences also go to all Charles friends and colleagues here in Qatar.
